Very friendly, professional and personable staff.
It's a bit tough to find on a moonless night.
Sprawling and gracious facility well attended by professional staff. The food in Brock's is exceptional as is the service there.

Great location, this hotel looks like a castle!
This hotel is a new facility that really looks like a castle. The surroundings are just so nice, it seems like out of a movie set. The bar is excellent, we visited for Davis Cup and the Swiss team was staying there - which speaks for itself about the hotel offering the highest quality. Excellent hotel tucked away from everything. Being there you don't realize you're in Birmingham or even Alabama. Seems like you should be in Scotland.
